Award: Wolfgang Hartmann Preis 2011
I am very happy that my exhibition concept „(In)Visible Cities“ was awarded with the Wolfgang Hartmann Award 2011 for curators. Everything is still new, the exact details have to be fixed – but it is definite that in September 2011 my exhibition concept will be realized at the Kunstverein Ettlingen Wilhelmshöhe.

SAVVY | art, contemporary, african the first bilingual online journal (German + English) is online!The aim of this bilingual journal is to revitalise an open and academic discourse on contemporary artistic positions and art projects related to Africa and its Diaspora. The journal strives, on the one hand, at partaking in and steering the current debate on contemporary African art, and on the other hand at formulating and instigating new critical questions, positions and discourses.
In the current edition you can find an interview which I conducted with architect D. Francis Kéré about his opera village „Remdoogo“ in Burkina Faso, which he developed together with Christoph Schlingensief.

In Frankfurt: In February 2011, the second PLAZA Show in the foyer of Frankfurt Commerzbank takes places, presenting works by Yasmin Alt and Friedrich Vater. An interview of me and the two artists is published in the catalogue.
In Vienna: Barbara Rapp and Maks Dannecker are inviting you for their „Dinner. With …“ at Galerie Peithner-Lichtenfels, an interdisciplinary collaboration with a catalogue essay written by me.
And until January in Berlin: SAVVY Contemporary presents „Perspectives on in/outside“ with works by Pierre Juillerat and Le Van Bo (04.12.2010 – 02.01.2011) – an exhibition project which I co-curated.
